CLOTHING
I recommend something NEW, and neutral. Solid colors are best. Nothing dingy and no stripes or patterns unless they are small. Don’t have everyone in your group wear light and one person wear dark. They will stick out. Keep in mind to stay away from clothing with writing or slogans for the most part they tend to be a distraction in your images.
Try to compliment each other. Wear shoes that you can walk comfortably in but are also good for shots. Your shoes may be photographed. Don’t wear short skirts or white pants. You may be asked to sit in the grass or get on your tummies. You are welcome to bring a blanket, but again, think neutral tones.
If your session is more than an hour or two, please consider at least one outfit change, three would be best just in case something you bring does not work on camera. It gives us something to pick from. Plus, you are welcome to bring props although nothing too big as you will have to carry it in around with us during the shoot.
